What the AI Career Agent does
Three things, all free and none of them gated behind a form: it reviews a CV against a specific job description and says what is missing, it generates interview questions for a named role and seniority, and it runs a mock interview where it asks follow-ups based on what you actually answered rather than reading from a list.
The CV review is the part most people find useful. It does not rewrite your CV for you — a rewritten CV you cannot defend in an interview is worse than a weak one you can. It tells you which requirements in the posting your CV does not currently evidence, which is a different and more actionable thing.
The mock interview is deliberately unforgiving about vagueness. If you answer "I improved performance", it will ask by how much, measured how, compared to what. That is the question a real interviewer asks and the one candidates are least prepared for.
How to get something out of it
Paste a real job description rather than a role title. "Senior Data Engineer" produces generic output; the actual posting produces specific gaps, because the specificity has to come from somewhere and the posting is where it lives.
Do the mock interview out loud and in one sitting. Reading your answers back silently is a different and much easier exercise than saying them, and the gap between the two is where interviews are lost.
Run it before you apply, not after you are rejected. The gaps it finds are usually fixable in a few days — a missing project, an unquantified result, a skill you have but did not mention.
What it is not
It is not a guarantee of anything, and it does not submit applications on your behalf. It is a language model with a well-designed prompt and access to nothing but what you paste into it. Its judgement about your CV is genuinely useful and occasionally wrong, and you should treat a suggestion you disagree with as a suggestion rather than an instruction.
